On-Site Tyre Fitting for Leicester
Leicester is a working city with a lot of vehicles on the move: vans heading out to jobs, delivery drivers covering the suburbs, and commuters joining the M1 at junction 21. The outer ring road and radial routes such as the A6, A47 and A50 carry a steady flow of traffic in and out, and the M69 heads off towards Coventry from the same busy junction.
If you get a flat or spot a damaged tyre anywhere in the city, a mobile fitter can come to you. We work through the night and at weekends, and in most cases we aim to reach you within 60 minutes, depending on traffic and your exact location.
For businesses, that means less downtime. Rather than a driver taking a van across the city to a tyre bay and waiting for a slot, the fitter comes to the depot, the customer's address or the lay-by where the van stopped. For everyone else, it means not having to change a wheel yourself on a busy road in the dark or the rain.
What You Get When You Call
The idea is simple: you tell us where you are, and we bring the tyre and the tools. The fitter comes from our network of over 100 across England and Wales, so it is someone working in or near Leicester rather than a long drive away.
- Repair or replacement on the spot, at home, at work or at the roadside.
- Free wheel balancing and free disposal of the old tyre.
- Manufacturer's guarantee on every new tyre.
- Competitive prices with no hidden fees, payable by cash, card or bank transfer.
Leicester Tyre Services
- Van tyres: light commercial tyres fitted at the yard, on site or at the kerb, so a flat does not take a van off the road for the day.
- Mobile tyre fitting: car tyres in budget, mid-range and premium brands, fitted on a driveway in Oadby or a street in Clarendon Park.
- Puncture repair: when the hole is small and in the main part of the tread, a proper repair keeps a good tyre in use.
- Breakdown recovery: for vehicles that need moving, such as after a blowout on the M1 that has also damaged the wheel.
Across the City and Into Leicestershire
We cover the city centre and areas such as Belgrave, Evington, Knighton, Clarendon Park, Aylestone, Braunstone and Beaumont Leys, as well as surrounding places including Oadby, Wigston, Birstall, Glenfield and Blaby. Our fitters attend the outer ring road, the A6, A47 and A50, and the M1 and M69 near the city.
Further afield, our network reaches Coventry, Atherstone and Northampton.
Van Drivers: Check the Load Rating
Van tyres are built to carry more weight than car tyres, but only up to a point. Every tyre has a load index on the sidewall, a number printed just after the size, and it tells you how much each tyre is rated to carry. Fitting a tyre with a lower rating than the van needs, or regularly running fully loaded with the pressures set for an empty van, leads to overheating, faster wear and sometimes sudden failure.
Keep to the load index shown in your handbook when replacing tyres, and set pressures for the weight you actually carry, with the rear axle often needing more. Look out for bulges and cracking on the sidewalls of older van tyres, which can age before the tread wears out. If you run a few vans, tell us the sizes and load ratings and we can bring the right tyres first time.
