A Mobile Tyre Service Built Around Nuneaton Roads
Most driving in Nuneaton is short and local: the school run in Weddington, a trip into the town centre, a drive over to Camp Hill or Attleborough to see family. Then there are the longer runs, south on the dual-carriageway A444 towards junction 3 of the M6, or out along the A5 Watling Street. Both kinds of journey can end with a tyre warning light.
Rather than you limping to a garage, one of our fitters drives out to wherever the car is and replaces or repairs the tyre there. Home, work, a supermarket car park or the side of the road all work, as long as the wheel can be reached safely.
Lines are open 24 hours, seven days a week. Depending on traffic and your location, we aim to reach you within about 60 minutes in most cases.
From Your Call to a Fixed Tyre
There's not much to it from your side. You ring or message, tell us where you are and what has happened, and we pass the job to the closest available fitter from our network of over 100 across England and Wales. They arrive with the right tyre where possible, so reading the size off the sidewall first (something like 205/55 R16) is a real help.
Once on site, the fitter checks the damage, then repairs or replaces the tyre. Included every time:
- wheel balancing, free of charge
- disposal of the old tyre, also free
- the manufacturer's guarantee on any new tyre
Card, cash and bank transfer are all accepted, and there are no extra fees added at the end.
Services for Drivers in and Around Nuneaton
- Mobile tyre fitting gives you a choice of budget, mid-range and premium tyres, fitted outside the house or the office.
- Puncture repair is the first thing we look at: if the hole is small and in the central part of the tread, a proper repair saves you a new tyre.
- Van tyre fitting keeps tradespeople and couriers moving, whether you're parked on an industrial estate or a customer's drive.
- Breakdown recovery is there when a damaged wheel or an awkward spot on the A5 means the car needs to be moved first.
Nuneaton Districts and the Towns Next Door
We cover all of Nuneaton, including Attleborough, Weddington, Stockingford, Camp Hill, Whitestone, Abbey Green, Horeston Grange, Bermuda and Chilvers Coton. Our fitters also work the roads that link them: the A444, the A5, the M6 and the M69 to the east.
Beyond the town we look after drivers in Bedworth just to the south, Atherstone up the A5, and Coventry.
If you're not sure whether your exact street or village falls inside our patch, just ask when you call. The answer is nearly always yes, and if the nearest fitter is busy we'll tell you straight away rather than leave you guessing.
School-Run Tip: Don't Ignore a Tyre That Keeps Going Soft
Lots of short trips are kind to fuel but they hide slow punctures well. A screw in the tread can let a tyre lose a few psi a week, and if the car only does a couple of miles at a time, you may just keep topping it up at the garage without thinking about why.
Treat any tyre that needs air more than once a month as suspect. Run your hand carefully around the tread, or spray a little soapy water on it and look for bubbles. Caught early, a slow puncture is usually repairable. Left alone, the tyre runs under-inflated, the sidewall flexes and overheats, and a cheap fix becomes a replacement.
