Tyres Fitted Wherever You Are in Norwich
Norwich is ringed by fast roads. The A47 runs round the south of the city towards Great Yarmouth in one direction and King's Lynn in the other, while the Broadland Northway (the A1270) loops across the north from the Postwick junction to the Fakenham Road. Add the A11 heading for Cambridge and the A140 down to Ipswich, and most drivers in the city are only ever a few minutes from a dual carriageway. That is where a lot of punctures show up.
You don't have to limp to a tyre shop. Ring us and a mobile fitter comes out to the car, whether it's on a driveway in Sprowston, in a car park near the university, or tucked into a lay-by on the southern bypass. We're available round the clock, and we aim to have someone with you within 60 minutes in most cases, depending on where you are and how busy the roads are.
Why Norwich Drivers Call a Mobile Fitter
Mostly it comes down to time. Waiting in for a garage slot, or driving across the city on a tyre you don't trust, eats into a day. With a mobile fitter the work comes to you:
- A fitter from nearby. Our network has over 100 mobile fitters across England and Wales, so your job goes to whoever is closest.
- No extras added at the end. Balancing the wheel and taking the old tyre away for disposal cost nothing, and there are no hidden fees.
- Proper tyres with a proper guarantee. Choose budget, mid-range or premium; every new tyre comes with the manufacturer's guarantee.
- Pay how you like. Card, cash or bank transfer once the job is finished.
What We Can Do for You in the City
Mobile tyre fitting covers new tyres put on at home, at work or wherever the car has stopped, which suits anyone who would rather not lose a morning at a garage on the ring road.
Picked up a nail? Puncture repair is the first option we look at. If the hole sits in the central part of the tread and is under 6 mm, it can usually be plugged safely; if not, the fitter swaps in a new tyre there and then.
Tradespeople working across the city and out into Broadland can use our van tyre service, so a flat on the van doesn't wipe out the day's bookings. And when the wheel is buckled or the car simply can't stay where it is, breakdown recovery gets it moved.
Suburbs, Villages and Roads We Cover
We cover the whole city and the suburbs that have grown up around it: Eaton to the south-west, Costessey and Hellesdon on the western and northern edges, Old Catton and Sprowston to the north, and Thorpe St Andrew out east towards the business park. Calls from the A47, A11, A140 and the Broadland Northway are all routine.
Heading towards the coast, our fitters also reach Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, and south along the A140 we cover Ipswich too.
Tip: Know What's in Your Boot Before You Need It
Plenty of newer cars leave the factory without a spare wheel. Instead there's a small compressor and a bottle of sealant under the boot floor, and many owners only find this out on the side of the road. Lift the floor this weekend and see what you've actually got.
Sealant kits can get you moving after a small puncture, but they have limits. They won't cope with a cut sidewall or a large hole, and once sealant is inside the tyre a repair may no longer be possible, so the tyre might need replacing anyway. If you're somewhere safe, it's often better to leave the kit alone and call a fitter who can look at the damage properly.
Book a Norwich Call-Out
Phone 07989 606060 at any hour, or send a WhatsApp message or use the contact form if that's easier. It helps to have three things ready: where the car is, its registration, and the tyre size from the sidewall (a string like 205/55 R16).
