Your Tyre Fitter in Stockton-on-Tees
Stockton is where two of the North East's busiest roads meet. The A66 runs east to Middlesbrough and west to Darlington, while the A19 heads north towards Sunderland and south to York. Around the town, the A1027 loops round the western side, the A135 goes out towards Yarm, and the A177 sets off for Durham. With that much traffic passing through, a flat tyre can happen almost anywhere. Wherever yours does, a mobile fitter can come and deal with it.
It could be outside a house in Hartburn, in a town-centre car park or on the hard shoulder of a dual carriageway. We cover the whole borough around the clock, and in most cases aim to reach you within 60 minutes, depending on traffic and where you are.
Some people ring because the car won't make it to work; others because they'd simply rather not spend a Saturday morning in a tyre centre. Both are fine by us. A fitter can come out at short notice for a flat, or at a time you choose for a planned set of new tyres, so the car is ready when you need it and you don't have to rearrange your day around a garage booking.
Why Book a Mobile Fitter in Stockton
You save the drive, the queue and the wait. The fitter arrives with a tyre in the right size, does the work at the roadside or on your drive, and you get on with your day. There is also no risk of making the damage worse by driving a deflated tyre across town.
- The job goes to the closest of our 100+ fitters across England and Wales.
- Every fitting includes free balancing and free removal of your old tyre.
- New tyres are backed by the manufacturer's guarantee.
- Pay by cash, card or bank transfer. No hidden fees.
What Our Fitters Handle
- Mobile tyre fitting: tyres at budget, mid-range and premium levels, fitted at home in Fairfield, Norton or Elm Tree.
- Puncture repair: a clean puncture in the central tread can usually be repaired; we will tell you honestly if it can't.
- Van tyres: for delivery and trade vans running up and down the A19 and A66 every day.
- Breakdown recovery: when the car can't be fixed where it stopped, or isn't safe to work on there.

Don't Ignore the Tyre Pressure Warning
Almost every car built in the last decade or so has a tyre pressure monitoring system, and the amber warning light it shows is easy to dismiss as a fault. Usually, though, it is telling you something real: one tyre has lost a noticeable amount of air. That might be a slow puncture, a leaking valve or a cracked rim.
If the light comes on while you are on the A66 or the A19, ease off and leave at the next safe exit rather than carrying on at speed. Once you are parked, check all four tyres with a gauge. If one is clearly low, or the light comes back soon after you reinflate it, that tyre needs looking at. Remember that some systems need resetting after a tyre change, so the light may stay on until that is done.
