Mobile Tyre Fitting in Hartlepool
Hartlepool sits on the coast a few miles off the A19, and two roads do most of the work getting people in and out. The A179 comes in from the north-west via Hart, and the A689 joins from the south after meeting the A19 near Wolviston. Both end close to the town centre. If you pick up a puncture on either of them, or find a flat outside your house on Owton Manor or in a town-centre car park, we can send a fitter to you.
There is no need to drive anywhere on a damaged tyre. We cover the town and the surrounding villages day and night, and in most cases aim to arrive within 60 minutes, depending on traffic and location.
Many of the calls we get are not emergencies at all. Someone has spotted a bald patch, a cracked sidewall on an older tyre, or a nail in the tread on a Sunday evening, and simply wants it dealt with at home rather than taking time off work to visit a garage.
Step by Step: Getting a Tyre Sorted
- Contact us. Say where the car is and describe the problem; a photo over WhatsApp can help.
- Your nearest fitter heads out. We have a network of over 100 mobile fitters across England and Wales, so someone close by takes the job.
- Repaired or replaced on the spot. We repair when the damage allows and fit a new tyre when it doesn't. Free balancing and free old-tyre disposal come as standard.
- Pay how you like. Cash, card or bank transfer. No hidden fees, and the manufacturer's guarantee on new tyres.

A Weekly Walk Round the Car
Screws and nails rarely cause an instant flat. More often they sit in the tread for days, letting air out a little at a time, until the tyre is low enough to overheat or come off the rim. A quick look once a week can catch them early, while a simple repair is still possible.
Walk round the car with your phone torch, and look at each tread for anything shiny stuck in it. Check that all four tyres look equally inflated from the side. If you find something, don't pull it out: it may be the only thing stopping the air escaping. Leave it in, avoid long drives and give us a ring. A small hole in the central tread can usually be repaired, which is far better than waiting until the sidewall is damaged and a new tyre is the only option.
Get a Hartlepool Fitter on the Way
Ring 07989 606060 any time, or send a WhatsApp message or a request through the contact form. Have your location, registration and tyre size ready if possible.
The tyre size is a set of numbers on the side of the tyre, something like 205/55 R16. If you can't find it, the registration usually lets us work it out, though it's worth double-checking in case the car has non-standard wheels.
