Welcome to Tyres Anywhere
Flat tyres dealt with across Durham, from the old city streets out to Carrville and the A1(M)

A Fitter Who Comes to You in Durham
Durham is not an easy place to drive a car with a bad tyre. The centre is built on hills around a loop of the river, streets are narrow, and parking near Elvet or Crossgate is tight at the best of times. If a tyre goes flat there, nursing the car to a garage on the edge of the city is the last thing you want to do. Instead, one of our mobile fitters can come to the car and change or repair the tyre on the spot.
Most people live a little further out, in places like Newton Hall, Framwellgate Moor, Gilesgate or Belmont, and use the A167, the A690 or the A1(M) every day. We cover all of it, day and night, and in most cases aim to reach you within 60 minutes, depending on traffic and exactly where you are.
The fitter needs only enough space to get a jack under the car and reach the wheel safely. A residential street, a supermarket car park or the driveway of a terraced house is usually fine. If the car is somewhere awkward, such as a narrow lane with no verge, tell us when you call and we'll plan around it before anyone sets off.
From Phone Call to Fitted Tyre
The process is short. You tell us where the car is and what has happened, and we pass the job to the closest available fitter from our network of more than 100 across England and Wales. They arrive with the right tyre, fit it, and balance the wheel before they leave.
A few things come as standard on every job:
- free wheel balancing
- free disposal of the tyre that comes off
- the manufacturer's guarantee on new tyres
- payment by card, cash or bank transfer, with no hidden fees
Tyre Help on Offer Around the City
- Mobile tyre fitting: new tyres at a choice of price levels, fitted outside your home in Pity Me, at work on the Belmont industrial site, or in a car park in town.
- Puncture repair: we check the damage first and repair it when British Standard guidance says it is safe, rather than replacing a tyre that can be saved.
- Van tyres: for vans working out of Dragonville and the other estates on the east side, so the day's work doesn't stop.
- Breakdown recovery: if the wheel or suspension is damaged and the car can't be driven, we arrange to move it.
Districts and Villages We Reach
Our fitters cover Neville's Cross, Crossgate, Elvet, Gilesgate, Belmont, Carrville, Framwellgate Moor, Newton Hall, Pity Me and Brasside. On the roads, that means the A167 north and south of the city, the A690, the A177 and A181, and junction 62 of the A1(M) at Carrville.
Further afield we also go to Chester-le-Street, Bishop Auckland, Consett and, along the A690, Sunderland.
Steep, Narrow Streets and Your Sidewalls
In the older parts of Durham you often park on a slope, close to a high kerb, with little room to manoeuvre. Scraping the kerb while you squeeze into a space is how a lot of sidewall damage starts. A scuff on the rubber is usually only cosmetic, but a bulge, a cut that shows cords, or a split near the rim is not safe and can't be repaired.
Take a look at the outer sidewalls every couple of weeks, especially the kerb-side tyres. If you spot a bubble, don't wait for it to get worse: it means the internal structure has been damaged, and it can fail without warning on the A1(M). Call us and we will replace it where the car is parked.
Book a Durham Call-Out
Phone 07989 606060, 24 hours a day, or contact us by WhatsApp or the form on the site. Tell us your location, the car's registration and, if you can read it, the tyre size on the sidewall.
