Tyres Fitted Around Salisbury's Ring Road and Beyond
Salisbury lies where the A30, the A36 and the A338 meet, and the A36 forms most of a ring road around the city centre, with the A3094 completing the loop through Harnham. Traffic from Southampton, Bath, Bournemouth and Amesbury all funnels onto it, and many visitors park at one of the five park and ride sites on the edge of the city.
When a tyre lets you down in all that, a mobile fitter saves you a lot of trouble. We come to your home in Bemerton Heath, a car park at Britford or Beehive, or the roadside on the A36, at any time of the day or night. Our aim is to be there within 60 minutes in most cases, depending on traffic and location.
It's not only breakdowns. Plenty of drivers here simply book new tyres to be fitted on their driveway, which saves sitting in a waiting room or arranging a lift.
Why Salisbury Drivers Call Us Out
Busy ring-road junctions and city-centre traffic make the city a poor place to drive around on a damaged tyre. With a mobile service, you stay put and the fitter comes to you.
- Close by: we use the nearest available fitter from our network of over 100 across England and Wales.
- Ready to fit: the fitter brings the tyre that matches the size you give us.
- Free extras: wheel balancing and old-tyre disposal at no charge.
- Guaranteed: new tyres carry the manufacturer's guarantee.
There are no hidden fees, and you can pay by card, cash or bank transfer.
Salisbury Tyre Services
- Mobile tyre fitting: premium, mid-range and budget options, fitted at home, at work or wherever you've stopped.
- Puncture repair: a safe repair when the hole is small and in the main part of the tread, so you only buy a tyre if you need one.
- Van tyres: for vans and light commercials working across the city and out to the villages on Salisbury Plain.
- Breakdown recovery: for damaged wheels, or cars stuck somewhere unsafe on the ring road or the A30.

Towing Tip: Check Trailer and Caravan Tyres Too
Salisbury sits on the route to the New Forest and the south coast, so in summer you'll see plenty of caravans and trailers on the A36 and A338. Their tyres are often forgotten: a caravan can sit on its drive for months, and tyres that barely move still age and lose pressure.
Before a trip, check the trailer or caravan tyres as carefully as the car's, using the pressures in its handbook, which are often higher than you'd expect. Look for cracking on the sidewalls and check the date code. Raise the car's rear tyre pressures to the loaded figure if the handbook gives one, since the towbar puts extra weight on the back axle.
If a caravan or trailer tyre does fail on the road, pull over well away from traffic and call us with the size from its sidewall. Trailer tyres are often smaller sizes that not every garage keeps in stock, so knowing the size before the fitter sets off makes a real difference.
