Where the A23 Meets the A25: Tyres Fitted in Redhill
Redhill grew up at a crossroads. The A23 runs through it on its way between London and Brighton, the A25 cuts across from Guildford towards Sevenoaks, and both the M25 and M23 are within about three miles. So a fair share of local driving is through traffic, queues at junctions and short hops to the motorway. That mix is hard on tyres, and a puncture usually shows up just when you have somewhere to be.
Instead of you hunting for a garage with a free slot, we send a mobile fitter to wherever the car is. That could be a street in Earlswood, a car park in the town centre or a lay-by on the A23. We work all day and all night, every day, and aim to get to most Redhill callers within 60 minutes, traffic permitting.
Plenty of the jobs we see here come from people who drive only a short way each day, to the station or the shops, and never notice a tyre slowly going down until the car pulls to one side. Others start with a warning light on the dashboard at the end of a long day. Both are easy to deal with on your doorstep, and the fitter will tell you honestly whether a repair is possible before anything is replaced.
Three Steps to a Sorted Tyre
- Get in touch. Phone or message us with your location and, ideally, the tyre size, so we can bring a match.
- We dispatch someone local. The network covers England and Wales with over 100 mobile fitters, so there is usually one working near Redhill.
- Fixed on site. The fitter repairs or replaces the tyre where the car stands. Balancing is free, and so is taking your old tyre away.
Payment is by cash, card or bank transfer at the end of the job. Every new tyre carries the manufacturer's guarantee, and there are no hidden fees.
Fitting, Repair, Vans and Recovery in Redhill
- Mobile tyre fitting: choose from budget, mid-range and premium tyres, fitted on your driveway or wherever you are parked.
- Puncture repair: if the hole is small and within the central tread, we repair it; otherwise we fit a replacement there and then.
- Van tyres: useful for couriers and trades running between Redhill, Gatwick and London, where a day off the road costs money.
- Breakdown recovery: for damaged wheels, or a car stranded somewhere it cannot be worked on safely.
Earlswood, Merstham, Salfords and Beyond
Our fitters cover the whole town and the communities joined to it, including Earlswood to the south, Merstham to the north and Whitebushes. We also go to Meadvale on the Reigate side and to Salfords further down the A23 towards Horley. The A23 and A25, and the M23 and M25 near the town, are all in our area.
Neighbouring places we serve include Reigate, Horley, Caterham and Croydon.
Using the Space Saver? Know Its Limits
Many cars carry a thin temporary spare rather than a full-size wheel. It will get you off the road, but it is not designed for normal driving. Most are limited to 50mph, and they are meant for a short distance only, usually just far enough to reach help. Taking one onto the M23 for a long journey is asking for trouble.
Space savers also lose pressure while they sit unused in the boot, sometimes for years. Check yours when you check the other four, using the pressure printed on the wheel or in the handbook, which is often higher than for the normal tyres. If you have had to fit it, call us and we will put a proper tyre back on.
