Tyre Help on Your Doorstep in Epsom
A lot of driving in Epsom is short and local: the school run along residential roads, a trip into the town centre, a hop over to Ewell or Banstead. Then there are the longer runs, down the A24 through Ashtead and Leatherhead to junction 9 of the M25, or north up the A240 towards Kingston. Epsom Downs and the racecourse sit right on the edge of town, and on busy race days the roads around them fill up quickly, so a tyre problem can leave you stuck in a queue with nowhere to pull over.
Whichever kind of trip you were on, a flat tyre or a warning light shouldn't mean a morning lost at a garage. One of our mobile fitters can come to the car, at home, at work or in a car park, and fit the new tyre there. We cover Epsom 24/7 and aim to arrive within 60 minutes in most cases, subject to location and how busy the roads are.
What a Call-Out Here Includes
- Help from the closest fitter. We work with a network of more than 100 mobile tyre fitters across England and Wales, so the nearest available one is sent to you.
- A repair if it's safe, a new tyre if it isn't. We follow British Standard guidance on what can be repaired.
- Nothing extra for the basics. Balancing the wheel and getting rid of the old tyre are both free.
- Peace of mind on new tyres. Every one is covered by the manufacturer's guarantee.
Prices are competitive, depend on the tyre and timing, and carry no hidden fees. You can pay with cash, a card or a bank transfer.

Buying a Used Car? Look Closely at the Tyres
Plenty of cars change hands on local driveways, and the tyres are easy to overlook when you're checking the bodywork and service history. A few minutes spent on them can save an unexpected bill straight after you buy.
- Tread depth: the legal minimum is 1.6 mm across the central three-quarters of the tread. A 20p coin is a rough guide: if you can see the outer band, the tyre is getting low.
- Even wear: one edge worn more than the other can point to alignment problems.
- Age: the four-digit code on the sidewall shows the week and year of manufacture. Old tyres can crack even with plenty of tread.
- Matching pairs: very different brands or patterns on the same axle are worth asking about.
- The spare or repair kit: check it's actually there, along with the locking wheel nut key.
If any of these checks turn something up, it's a fair point to raise with the seller before you agree a deal. And if the tyres need replacing after you've bought the car, we can fit them on your drive.
