Reigate Tyre Fitting, From Reigate Hill Down to Woodhatch
Reigate is only a few minutes from the M25. Drive up Reigate Hill on the A217 and you reach junction 8, where the motorway meets the town's main road north. Meanwhile the A25 crosses the town from west to east, linking Dorking with Redhill, and the old London to Brighton route runs south through Woodhatch. On roads like these, a flat tyre tends to happen at the worst moment: halfway up the hill, or on the school run with the clock ticking.
Whatever the moment, you can stay with your car. A mobile fitter comes out with the right tyre and the tools to fit it, whether you are parked on a residential street, at work or at the side of the road. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and in most cases try to reach you within the hour, subject to location and traffic.
The town centre has its own hazards. Streets are lined with parked cars and spaces are snug, so scuffed sidewalls and damaged rims are common. If the wheel is accessible and the spot is safe, the fitter can usually deal with it where the car is.
What You Get When We Come Out
A call-out in Reigate is handled by one of the 100+ mobile fitters in our network across England and Wales, chosen because they are close by. When they arrive:
- They check the damage and tell you honestly whether the tyre can be repaired.
- If not, they fit a new premium, mid-range or budget tyre, backed by the manufacturer's guarantee.
- The wheel is balanced and the old tyre taken away, both free of charge.
- You pay by card, cash or bank transfer, with no hidden fees added.
Repairs, Replacements and Recovery
- Mobile tyre fitting: new tyres fitted on your drive in South Park, outside your office or in a car park near the high street.
- Puncture repair: small punctures in the centre of the tread are repaired properly, so you are not paying for a tyre you do not need.
- Van tyres: for local tradespeople who use the M25 and M23 to get to jobs.
- Breakdown recovery: available when the wheel or car cannot be safely fixed in place.

Spotted a Bulge? Stop Driving on That Tyre
Hit a pothole or clip a kerb hard and the internal structure of a tyre can break without any visible puncture. Air then pushes into the gap and forms a lump on the sidewall. It might look minor, but a bulge means the tyre has lost its strength at that point and can burst, especially at speed or when climbing a hill under load.
Run a hand over the outer sidewalls every so often, and look closely at any tyre that took a heavy knock. A bulge cannot be repaired. Drive gently if you must, keep off the motorway, and get the tyre replaced as soon as you can. Better still, leave the car where it is and let us come to it. It is worth checking the inner sidewall too, the side facing the engine, since a kerb strike on the opposite wheel or a deep pothole can mark it where you would never normally look.
