Pudsey Tyre Fitting, Brought to Your Door
Pudsey sits on the western side of Leeds, close enough to Bradford that plenty of residents work in one city and shop in the other. The A647 is the old main road between the two, and these days its Stanningley by-pass doubles as part of the Leeds Outer Ring Road. North of Farsley the ring road becomes the A6120 and carries on towards Horsforth. Those busy dual carriageways, plus a lot of steep residential streets, make for a steady stream of punctures and damaged sidewalls.
You do not need to find a garage with a free slot. A fitter will drive out to the car, whether it is outside your house, at work or pulled in off the by-pass. We are available at any time of day or night, and for most of Pudsey we aim to arrive within 60 minutes, subject to traffic.
Older parts of Pudsey and Stanningley have narrow terraced streets where cars park half on the pavement, and mounting a high kerb every evening slowly chews at the sidewall. Our fitters are used to working in tight spaces like these, so as long as the damaged wheel can be reached safely, the car rarely needs to be moved first.
Why a Mobile Fitter Suits Pudsey
Driving to a tyre centre on a flat risks wrecking the wheel as well as the tyre. Having the work done where the car is parked avoids that, and saves the time spent sitting in a waiting room.
- The job goes to whichever of our 100+ fitters is closest to you.
- Free balancing and free removal of the old tyre come with every fitting.
- New tyres keep their full manufacturer's guarantee.
- Pricing is competitive, with no hidden extras, and you can pay by card, cash or transfer.
Our Pudsey Services
- Mobile tyre fitting: new tyres fitted at home in Farsley, outside the office or on a side street off the A647, with a choice of budget, mid-range and premium.
- Puncture repair: small holes in the middle of the tread are usually fixable, which keeps a good tyre in service for longer.
- Van tyres: for tradespeople who cover both Leeds and Bradford, a fitter who comes to the job keeps the working day intact.
- Breakdown recovery: if the car cannot be fixed safely where it has stopped, we can arrange to move it.

Roadworks Tip: Look for Screws After Driving Through Cones
The ring road between Horsforth and Pudsey has seen long spells of roadworks, and any coned-off section collects screws, bolts and bits of metal that get kicked into the running lane. Most of them end up embedded in a tyre without causing an immediate flat, so the first sign is a tyre that looks slightly lower a few days later.
After a run through a works zone, walk round the car the next time it is parked and look at the tread. If you spot a screw head, leave it in place, because pulling it out can turn a slow leak into a fast one. Ring us and we will check whether it can be repaired.
Book a Pudsey Tyre Fitter
Call us on 07989 606060, whatever the hour, or use WhatsApp or the contact form. The quickest bookings are the ones where we know the tyre size, the car's registration and exactly where it is parked. If it is on a busy road such as the by-pass, let us know so the fitter can plan where to stop safely.
