Mobile Tyre Fitting Across the City of Hull
Hull is a flat, spread-out city where most journeys follow a few long arterial roads. The M62 turns into the A63 as it approaches from the west and becomes Clive Sullivan Way along the Humber. Hessle Road, Anlaby Road and Beverley Road fan out to the west and north, while Holderness Road (the A165) and Hedon Road (the A1033) carry traffic east of the River Hull. Those routes are busy with cars, vans and lorries heading to and from the docks.
If a tyre goes on one of them, you do not have to struggle to a garage. We send a mobile fitter with the replacement tyre to wherever you have stopped, and they fit it there. You can call us 24 hours a day, every day, and we aim to be with you within 60 minutes in most cases, depending on location and traffic.
Why Hull Drivers Call Us Instead of Driving to a Garage
Driving on a flat tyre, even for a short distance, can wreck the tyre and damage the wheel rim too. It is also risky on a fast dual carriageway like the A63. A mobile fitter means the car stays put while the problem is sorted, and for jobs at home or at work you can carry on with your day while the fitter gets on with it outside.
- We pass the job to the nearest of our 100+ experienced fitters across England and Wales.
- The fitter balances the new tyre for free and takes the old one away for disposal at no charge.
- Your new tyre is covered by the manufacturer's guarantee.
- You pay by card, cash or bank transfer at the end, and there are no hidden fees.
Tyre Services Across Hull
- Mobile tyre fitting: budget, mid-range or premium tyres, fitted outside your house in Sutton-on-Hull or in a car park off Holderness Road.
- Puncture repair: we repair the tyre if the damage is small and away from the shoulder. Damage outside that safe area means a replacement, which we can usually fit straight away.
- Van tyres: for the many vans working around the port, the industrial estates and the delivery routes into the city.
- Breakdown recovery: for when the car has been damaged or is stopped somewhere a fitter cannot work safely, such as a live lane.
Hull Estates, Suburbs and Nearby Towns
We work in every part of the city, east and west of the river: Bransholme, Sutton-on-Hull, Marfleet and the Preston Road estate in the east, and the neighbourhoods along Hessle Road, Anlaby Road and Beverley Road in the west. Just outside the city boundary, Anlaby, Cottingham, Hessle and Hedon are covered too.
Our fitters also travel north to Beverley, up the coast road towards Bridlington, and west along the A63 and M62 to Goole.
If a Tyre Fails on the A63, Get Off the Road First
The A63 into Hull is fast and busy, with heavy goods traffic for the docks. If you feel a tyre go, do not brake hard. Hold the wheel firmly, ease off the accelerator, signal and move into the nearest safe space, such as a lay-by, a slip road or the next side road. Stopping in a live lane is far more dangerous than rolling a little further on a flat, even if it costs you the tyre.
Once you have stopped, switch on your hazard lights and get everyone out on the side away from the traffic, behind a barrier if there is one. Then call us and tell us where you are. Do not try to change the wheel yourself at the edge of a dual carriageway.
