Tyres Fitted Wherever You Are in Grimsby
Grimsby sits at the end of the line, road-wise. The A180 carries traffic in from the M180 as a long dual carriageway, then continues as a single carriageway on to Cleethorpes and the seafront. The A46 heads out towards Lincoln through Laceby, the A16 runs south to Louth, and between them a grid of residential roads fills the town, from Little Coates and Nunsthorpe to Scartho.
That long approach means help can feel far away when a tyre goes. Our mobile fitters close the gap by driving out to you with the tyre on board, whether you are at home, at work near the docks or pulled over on the A180. We aim to reach you within 60 minutes in most cases, although distance and traffic can affect that.
Why Grimsby Drivers Call Us Rather Than Drive In
Driving any distance on a flat or badly damaged tyre usually finishes it off, and can bend the wheel as well. With a mobile fitter, the car doesn't need to move at all.
- Round-the-clock service: we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Experienced fitters: a network of 100+ across England and Wales, many with decades of experience.
- Included as standard: free balancing, free disposal of your old tyre and the manufacturer's guarantee on new tyres.
- Straightforward payment: no hidden fees; pay by card, cash or bank transfer.
Tyre Services in North East Lincolnshire
- Mobile tyre fitting: new tyres in premium, mid-range and budget ranges, fitted on your drive in Scartho or at your workplace.
- Puncture repair: a small puncture in the main part of the tread is repaired where safe; if it can't be, we fit a new tyre on the spot.
- Van tyres: for the many vans working between Grimsby, Immingham and the M180, where a day off the road means missed drops or jobs. We bring tyres with the right load rating for a working van.
- Breakdown recovery: when a wheel is too damaged to change at the roadside, or the car is stuck somewhere unsafe.
Scartho, Great Coates, Laceby and the Coast
We cover all of Grimsby, including Scartho, Nunsthorpe, Little Coates, Great Coates and Weelsby, along with Laceby, Waltham, Humberston, New Waltham and Healing just outside. Our fitters work along the A180, A46, A16 and A1243 Scartho Road.
Nearby, we serve Cleethorpes, Louth and Scunthorpe, and Immingham to the west.
Out in the villages and on the long straight stretches of the A180, it helps to give us a landmark or the last junction you passed. If you are not sure whether we reach your area, ask when you call and we will check it for you straight away.
Salt Air and Slow Leaks From Alloy Wheels
Living near the sea is hard on wheels. Salty air, and the salt spread on roads in winter, can corrode the edge of an alloy wheel where the tyre seals against it, known as the bead seat. Once that surface gets rough, air seeps out slowly even though the tyre itself has no puncture at all.
The signs are a tyre that needs topping up every week or two and no nail to be found. A bit of soapy water brushed around the rim will bubble where it is leaking. The fix is to remove the tyre, clean the corrosion off the rim and reseal it, which a fitter can often do on the spot. Washing the wheels through the winter months, including the inner faces, slows the problem down.
