Mobile Tyres for Gainsborough and the Trent Side
Gainsborough lies on the Lincolnshire bank of the River Trent, and its roads fan out in every direction. The A631 crosses Trent Bridge heading west towards the A1(M) and runs east to meet the A15 at Hemswell. The A159 climbs north towards Scunthorpe, and the A156 leaves south through Lea to join the A57 for Lincoln. If you drive any of those roads to work, a flat tyre can catch you at either end of the day, in the dark as often as in daylight.
We bring the tyre to you. One of our mobile fitters travels out with the right size and fits it at your house, your workplace or the roadside, around the clock. In most cases we aim to arrive within 60 minutes of your call, though that can vary with traffic and your location.
Some streets in town are steep, such as Foxby Hill off Lea Road, and a few are tight for parking. Tell us how the car is sitting when you call so the fitter knows what to expect.

Tyre Jobs We Handle in Gainsborough
- Mobile tyre fitting: new tyres in a range of brands and prices, fitted on your drive in Morton, near Lea Road station or in a car park in town.
- Puncture repair: we'll repair a small puncture in the central tread where it is safe to do so, and replace the tyre where it isn't.
- Van tyres: for vans covering the routes to Scunthorpe, Lincoln and the A1, so a puncture doesn't mean missed jobs.
- Breakdown recovery: when the car can't be made safe at the roadside or the wheel itself is damaged.
Gainsborough Districts and Surrounding Villages
We cover the town including Morton to the north, the Lea Road and Foxby Hill area, the Middlefield estate and the streets around Ashcroft Road. Outside town we reach Lea, Corringham, Blyton and Scotter, and on the Nottinghamshire side of the river, Misterton. Our fitters work along the A631, A159 and A156 too, including the approach to Trent Bridge, which is the only road crossing of the river for some distance in either direction, so it is a route plenty of local drivers rely on.
Nearby towns we also cover include Lincoln, Retford and Worksop.
Gainsborough Tip: Know Where Your Locking Wheel Nut Key Is
Plenty of cars have one locking nut on each wheel, and it can only be removed with the matching key. When that key is lost, buried under shopping in the boot or left in a different car, even a simple tyre change gets much harder.
Take a minute now to find the key and keep it somewhere obvious, such as the glovebox or with the jack. While you're there, check whether your car has a spare wheel at all, or just an inflation kit; many newer cars don't carry a spare. If you call us for a flat, tell us whether you have the key, so the fitter can come prepared.
