On the Coast in Bridlington with a Flat Tyre?
Bridlington sits where two long trunk roads reach the sea. The A165 runs along the coast between Hull and Scarborough, passing Filey to the north, and the A614 comes in from Driffield, linking the town with the M62 at Howden. Anyone driving from York usually comes via the A166 to Driffield and then on the A614. That means a lot of long journeys end here, and a tyre that has been losing air for miles often gives up on arrival.
Whether you live in town or are here for a few days, a mobile fitter can come to you and replace or repair the tyre where the car is. We take calls 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and aim to get to you within 60 minutes in most cases, depending on location and the seasonal traffic.
Outside the holiday season the work looks different: commuters heading inland to Driffield, delivery vans on the industrial estate and residents who discover a soft tyre on the drive before work. The approach is the same in every case. Tell us where the car is, and the fitter brings the tyre to it, so the car never has to move on a flat.
Why a Mobile Fitter Makes Sense in Bridlington
Getting a car with a flat to a tyre shop is a hassle, especially in summer when the roads into town are slow. We come to you instead, sending the nearest of more than 100 experienced fitters we work with across England and Wales.
- No towing to a garage for a simple flat: the work is done where you are parked.
- Free balancing on every new tyre, plus free disposal of the old one.
- Manufacturer's guarantee on all new tyres fitted.
- Pay at the end by card, cash or bank transfer, with no hidden fees.
Bridlington Tyre Services
- Mobile tyre fitting: new tyres in budget, mid-range and premium brands, fitted at home, at a holiday park or on a street near the seafront.
- Puncture repair: a repair when the damage is in the safe central zone of the tread; a replacement on the spot if it is not.
- Van tyres: for businesses on the Bessingby industrial estate and the traders who serve the town, so a flat costs as little time as possible.
- Breakdown recovery: if the car has wheel damage or cannot be worked on where it has stopped on the A165 or A614.
Where We Work Around Bridlington
We cover the whole town, from the seafront and centre out to Bessingby and the industrial estate off Bessingby Way. Sewerby, a couple of miles east, and the road on to Flamborough are covered too, along with Driffield inland and the A165 and A614.
Our fitters also head up the coast to Filey and Scarborough, and south to Beverley and Hull.
Loaded Up for the Seaside? Adjust Your Pressures
A car packed with passengers, luggage, bikes on the back and perhaps a roof box is carrying far more weight than on a normal day. Most manufacturers give two sets of pressures, one for a normal load and a higher one for a fully loaded car. Using the lighter figure with a heavy load lets the tyres flex more, run hotter and wear unevenly.
Before setting off for Bridlington, check the sticker in the door frame, fuel flap or handbook and inflate to the loaded figure. Do it with the tyres cold, before you leave home. Once you have unpacked, set them back to normal for driving around town.
