A Tyre Fitter Who Comes to You in Truro
Truro is where much of mid Cornwall comes to work, shop and see a doctor, so its roads carry a lot of traffic for a small city. The A390 brings people in from the west past Threemilestone and Gloweth, the A39 links it with Falmouth and the north coast, and the streets around the centre are narrow, busy and lined with kerbs. A flat tyre can turn up on any of them.
When it does, there's no need to limp to a workshop. Ring us and a mobile fitter drives out with the right tyre and the kit to fit it, wherever the car is: on your drive in Newham, in a car park in town, or in a lay-by outside the city. We work 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and in most cases we aim to reach you within 60 minutes, although rush-hour queues on the A390 can make a difference.
Why Truro Drivers Skip the Garage Queue
Getting a car with a flat across the city at peak time is slow and risky, and driving on a deflated tyre usually wrecks it. A mobile fitter avoids both problems. You tell us the location and, if you can, the size printed on the tyre sidewall. We pass the job to the nearest of our 100+ fitters across England and Wales, and they bring the tyre to you.
- Balancing included: every wheel we fit is balanced at no extra charge.
- Old tyre removed: we take it away and dispose of it for free.
- Peace of mind: new tyres come with the manufacturer's guarantee.
- Clear pricing: competitive rates and no hidden fees, paid by cash, card or bank transfer.
What We Can Do on the Spot
Mobile tyre fitting covers premium, mid-range and budget tyres, fitted at home, outside the office or in a car park at Treliske while you get on with your day.
For a nail or screw, ask about puncture repair. If the hole is within the central three-quarters of the tread and no wider than 6 mm, British Standard guidance says it can be repaired, and we'll do that. If not, we fit a replacement there and then.
Tradespeople and delivery drivers based around the city can book van tyre fitting for vans and light commercials, so the vehicle is back on the road before the next job. And if the wheel is damaged or the car is stuck somewhere unsafe, we can arrange breakdown recovery.
Across Truro and Out Along the Rivers
Our fitters cover every part of Truro: Kenwyn and Moresk to the north, Trelander on the east side, Newham to the south, and Highertown, Treliske and Gloweth to the west. We also reach Threemilestone, where the park and ride sits on the A390, and Malpas down on the river.
Beyond the city, we cover the routes to Falmouth along the A39, St Austell along the A390, and north towards Newquay. Drivers heading west towards Camborne on the A30 are covered too.
Local Tip: Park Away From High Kerbs
Many older streets near the city centre have tall stone kerbs and tight spaces, and parallel parking against them is one of the quickest ways to damage a tyre. Scrape the sidewall a few times and the rubber can split or bulge, and a bulge cannot be repaired.
Leave a small gap when you pull in, turn the wheel gently rather than dragging it along the stone, and look at the outside edge of your tyres every few weeks. Scuffs are cosmetic; a lump, a cut showing cords or a split near the rim means the tyre needs replacing before you drive any distance on it.
Call Us From Anywhere in Truro
Phone 07989 606060 at any hour, or send a WhatsApp message or use our contact form. It helps to have three things ready: where the car is (a street name, a car park or a nearby junction), the registration, and the tyre size from the sidewall.
