Blackpool Tyres Fitted Wherever You've Stopped
Most cars arrive in Blackpool the same way: along the M55 to junction 4 at Marton, then onto Yeadon Way or the A583 into town. From there the A584 runs the length of the Promenade, about seven miles of seafront, with residential districts stacked up behind it. In the busy months the town fills with visitors, many in cars loaded with luggage, bikes and children, and a flat tyre can bring a day out to an abrupt stop.
Whether you live here or are just visiting, our fitters come to you. A hotel car park, a side street off the Prom, or a driveway in Marton are all fine, provided the car can be worked on safely. We cover the town 24 hours a day, every day, and in most cases aim to reach you within 60 minutes, though seasonal traffic can stretch that.
For people who live here year round, the calls are more ordinary: a slow puncture spotted on the school run in Layton, a tyre that's gone flat on the drive in Bispham, or a screw picked up on one of the industrial estates south of the centre. The fix is the same. Leave the car where it is, ring us, and get on with something else while the fitter is on the way.
What Happens After You Ring
- We take the details. Where the car is, what's happened and, ideally, the tyre size. Visitors: a hotel name or street and postcode is perfect.
- The closest fitter sets off. We have more than 100 mobile fitters across England and Wales, so there's usually one working on the Fylde.
- Repair or replace, right there. Free balancing and free disposal of the old tyre are part of every fitting.
New tyres come with the manufacturer's guarantee. You pay at the end by card, cash or bank transfer, and the price has no hidden fees tucked into it.
Services on the Fylde Coast
- Mobile tyre fitting: budget to premium tyres, fitted in Bispham, Anchorsholme, Layton or wherever your car is parked up.
- Puncture repair: safe repairs for small punctures in the main tread area, so you're not paying for a tyre you don't need.
- Van tyres: for the vans that keep the town's hotels, shops and attractions supplied, often on tight schedules.
- Breakdown recovery: when a wheel is damaged or the car has stopped somewhere roadside work isn't possible.
Across the Borough and Beyond
We work in every part of the town: North Shore, Bispham and Anchorsholme up the coast, Layton, Grange Park and Whitegate inland, Marton around the motorway end, and South Shore, Squires Gate and Starr Gate to the south. Main routes include the M55, the A583, the A5230, Yeadon Way and the A584 Promenade.
Outside Blackpool we cover Lytham St Annes, Preston and, further up the coast, Lancaster.
Fully Loaded? Adjust Your Tyre Pressures
A car packed for a few days at the seaside, with a full family on board and maybe a roof box or bike rack, is a lot heavier than it is on the daily commute. Tyres run at normal pressures under that extra weight flex more, build up heat and wear unevenly, which raises the chance of a failure on the motorway.
Most cars list two sets of figures, one for normal use and a higher one for a full load. You'll find them on a sticker inside the driver's door, inside the fuel flap or in the handbook. Set the tyres to the laden figure before you leave, with them cold, and put them back to normal once you've unpacked. If you're towing a caravan, check its tyres too: they often sit unused for months and can perish without much tread wear.
