Tyres Fitted at the Kerbside in Bexleyheath
Most driving in Bexleyheath is short and suburban: the school run, a trip to the Broadway, a commute that heads for the A2 and on towards central London or the Kent coast. Streets of semis with cars parked nose to tail on both sides are the norm, and that's exactly where a lot of punctures get found, usually first thing in the morning when you're already late.
Our answer is simple: a mobile fitter drives to the car and changes or repairs the tyre right there, whether it's outside your house, in a car park in the town centre or at work. We run 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and in most cases we aim to reach you within 60 minutes, traffic on Watling Street permitting.
It also helps when the car simply isn't safe to drive. A tyre that's gone completely flat overnight can be ruined in a few hundred yards, and changing to a space-saver spare on a narrow, busy road isn't much fun either. Leave it where it is and let us deal with it.
From Phone Call to Fitted Tyre
- Ring or message us. Say where the car is parked and which tyre has the problem. A photo of the sidewall on WhatsApp is often the quickest way to give us the size.
- A nearby fitter takes the job. Our network of 100+ mobile fitters across England and Wales means someone in south-east London or north-west Kent can usually pick it up.
- The work is done where you are. Balancing is free, your old tyre is taken away free of charge, and any new tyre carries the manufacturer's guarantee.
- Pay how you like. Card, cash or bank transfer, with no hidden fees added at the end.
Services Across Bexleyheath and Bexley
- Mobile tyre fitting: a replacement tyre fitted on your driveway or at the roadside in front of your home, choosing from budget, mid-range and premium options.
- Puncture repair: when a screw has gone into the main tread and the damage is within safe limits, we repair it; if it's near the shoulder or too large, we'll tell you straight and fit a new one.
- Van tyres: for trades and couriers covering the borough, fitted at the job or the yard so the van isn't off the road for long.
- Breakdown recovery: for a car that can't be fixed at the kerb, for example with a cracked alloy, or one stranded on the A2.
Bexleyheath, Welling, Barnehurst and Beyond
Around the town centre we cover Upton, West Heath and the streets near Danson Park, and further out Barnehurst, Welling, Crayford and Bexley village. Roads we're regularly called to include the A207 Broadway and Watling Street, the A2 Rochester Way along the southern side of the area, and the A206 nearer the river.
Our fitters also work in Dartford just over the Kent border and in Greenwich to the west, so if you break down on the way to either, we can still get to you.
Kerbed a Tyre Parking? Check the Sidewall
On residential roads where you have to tuck in tight to let buses and vans through, scraping a kerb is easy to do and easy to forget. The tread usually survives; the sidewall often doesn't. Repeated kerbing scuffs away rubber and can cut into the cords underneath, and damage to a sidewall can't be safely repaired.
Every few weeks, crouch down and look along the outer face of the kerb-side tyres. Light scuffing is cosmetic. A gouge, a bulge or exposed threads is not, and that tyre needs replacing before it fails. Parking a hand's width off the kerb, and turning the wheels straight before you stop, saves a surprising number of tyres.
