Keynsham Drivers: We Come to You
Keynsham sits on the A4 between Bristol and Bath, and the road shapes a lot of daily life here. The bypass skirts the town as a dual carriageway, crossing the River Chew, and the Hicks Gate junction links it to the A4174 ring road on the Bristol side. Queues building up from Brislington past Keynsham and on towards Saltford are a familiar sight at peak times.
Stop-start driving is no fun with a soft tyre, and sitting in that traffic to reach a garage is worse. We send a mobile fitter to you instead, whether the car's at home, in a car park in town or parked up at work. The service runs 24/7, and in most cases we aim to arrive within an hour of your call, depending on the traffic.
A lot of Keynsham is residential streets and estates with driveways, which gives the fitter room to work. If you're parked in a tighter spot near the town centre, let us know when you call and we'll work out the best way to get to the wheel safely.
The Steps From First Call to Finished Job
- Ring or message us. Say where you are and, if you can, give us the size marked on the side of the tyre.
- A nearby fitter is assigned. We have 100+ mobile fitters around England and Wales, so we can usually find one close to Keynsham.
- Repair or replace, then balance. Balancing is included free, and we take your old tyre away without charging for it.
Any new tyre is covered by the manufacturer's guarantee. You can pay by bank transfer, card or cash, with no hidden fees.
Commuters often ask us to come while they're at work, so the car is ready by home time. That's no problem, provided the car is somewhere the fitter can access, you've told us where the locking wheel nut key is if the car has one, and someone can hand over the keys.

Don't Ignore the Tyre Pressure Warning Light
Most cars built in the last decade or so have a tyre pressure monitoring system, and the amber warning light (a horseshoe shape with an exclamation mark) is easy to dismiss in slow A4 traffic. Low-speed crawling doesn't make a soft tyre feel any different, so the light is often the only warning you get of a slow puncture.
When it comes on, pull in somewhere safe and check all four tyres with a gauge. If one is clearly low, top it up and check it again the next day. If it's dropped again, there's probably a nail or a leaking valve, and it's worth having it seen to before it fails on the faster stretch of the bypass. Remember to reset the system after correcting the pressures, following the handbook.
