Corsham Tyre Fitting, Brought to You
Corsham is a historic market town on the south western edge of the Cotswolds, just off the A4. It sits about four miles south west of Chippenham and eight miles north east of Bath, so a lot of local driving means the A4 through Rudloe and Box one way or towards Chippenham the other. With the town's railway station closed since the 1960s, most people rely on the car for commuting.
If one of your tyres lets you down, you don't need to go anywhere. A mobile fitter comes to your home, workplace or roadside location, at any time, on any day, and does the job there. We aim to arrive within 60 minutes in most cases, depending on traffic and exactly where you are.
We also fit tyres by appointment, which suits anyone who knows their tread is getting low and would like it dealt with before it becomes a problem.
The town's older streets can be narrow, with cars parked tight against the kerb. If yours is wedged in, let us know when you call so the fitter can plan how to reach the wheel safely.
Here's How It Works in Corsham
- Call or send a message. Give us your location and the tyre size, plus anything unusual such as run-flat tyres or locking wheel nuts.
- We send someone nearby. The nearest available fitter from our network of over 100 across England and Wales takes the job.
- Your tyre is fixed on the spot. Balancing the wheel and getting rid of the old tyre cost nothing extra, and new tyres come with the manufacturer's guarantee.
Card, cash and bank transfer are all fine, and there are no hidden fees.
Tyre Services for Corsham Residents
- Mobile tyre fitting: a range of premium, mid-range and budget tyres, fitted outside your house in Pickwick, Westwells or the town centre.
- Puncture repair: small punctures in the main part of the tread are repaired to British Standard guidance when it's safe to do so.
- Van tyres: fitted wherever your van is parked, for traders working around the town and its villages.
- Breakdown recovery: for a car that can't be fixed at the roadside, or one stranded somewhere unsafe on the A4.

Run-Flat and Locking Nut Tip: Know What's on Your Car
Two things slow down a roadside tyre change more than anything else: a missing locking wheel nut key, and not knowing that the car has run-flat tyres.
Locking nuts need a special adaptor to remove, and every set is different. Find yours now, and keep it in the glovebox or with the jack rather than in a kitchen drawer. If your car has run-flats, the sidewall will usually say so with a marking such as RFT, ROF or SSR. Run-flats let you keep driving for a limited distance after a puncture, usually at reduced speed, but they should be replaced with run-flats rather than standard tyres. Telling us both things when you call means the fitter turns up with the right tyre and the right tools.
It's also worth checking how many miles your car can cover on a deflated run-flat; the figure is in the handbook and is often around 50 miles. That's usually enough to get home to Corsham or off the A4 to somewhere safe, where we can meet you and fit the replacement.
