Mobile Tyre Fitting on the Gosport Peninsula
Gosport is on a peninsula across the harbour from Portsmouth, and by road most traffic in and out uses one main route: the A32, which runs up through Fareham to junction 11 of the M27. When that road is busy, the whole town feels it, and a car stuck with a flat tyre on it causes even more trouble. The ferry across the harbour to Portsmouth carries foot passengers only, so anyone who needs the car has to go the long way round.

Sort Slow Punctures Before You Set Off
With only one main road off the peninsula, a tyre that fails on the way to work can leave you stuck in the worst possible place, holding up traffic in both directions. A lot of those failures start days earlier as a slow puncture that nobody spotted.
Get into the habit of glancing at your tyres as you walk up to the car. One that looks lower than the others, or a pressure warning light on the dashboard, deserves a gauge check before you leave. If it has dropped since last week, book a repair while the car is still on your drive, rather than finding out on the A32 at half past eight. Small sharp stones lodged in the grooves are worth picking out with a blunt tool before they work their way in.
