A Mobile Tyre Service Built Around Fleet
Fleet was given its own M3 junction, 4a, and junction 5 is not far to the west, so for many households the motorway is part of the daily routine. The A323 crosses the town itself, connecting the residential roads with the centre. The built-up area also spreads into Church Crookham, Crookham Village, Elvetham Heath and Dogmersfield, which means a lot of estate roads, cul-de-sacs and driveways.
That's where we come in. When a tyre goes flat, a mobile fitter travels to the car and replaces or repairs it on the spot, so you don't have to work out how to get to a garage. Help is available at any hour, every day. In most cases we aim to have someone with you within 60 minutes, depending on traffic and exactly where you are.
Early starts are no problem. If you discover a soft tyre before the commute, call us and we'll try to get the car sorted before you need to leave. For non-urgent jobs, such as replacing a pair of worn front tyres, we can agree a time that fits around work and the school run.
What to Expect When a Fitter Comes Out
Once you've told us the problem, we contact the nearest available member of our network, which covers England and Wales with more than 100 mobile fitters. They head straight to you with a suitable tyre.
On arrival, the fitter inspects the tyre and talks you through the options. Repairable punctures are repaired; otherwise a new tyre goes on. Either way, balancing is included free, your old tyre is removed and disposed of at no charge, and new tyres carry the manufacturer's guarantee. Payment is taken by card, cash or bank transfer when everything is done, with no hidden extras.
Tyre Work We Carry Out in Fleet
- Mobile tyre fitting: replacements from budget to premium, fitted on the driveway in Elvetham Heath or Church Crookham while you get on with your day.
- Puncture repair: many of the screws and nails we find are in a repairable part of the tread, and fixing them is quicker than replacing the tyre.
- Van tyres: for self-employed trades and fleet vans heading out of town each morning, fitted before the van leaves the drive if needed.
- Breakdown recovery: available when a wheel is damaged or a car has stopped somewhere it can't safely be worked on, such as a live motorway lane.
Fleet, Crookham and the Hart District
We cover the whole of the Fleet built-up area: the town centre, Church Crookham, Crookham Village, Elvetham Heath and Dogmersfield. Our fitters also attend breakdowns on the A323 and on the M3 between junctions 4a and 5, including around Fleet services.
Neighbouring towns covered include Farnborough and Aldershot to the east and Basingstoke further west along the M3.
Spotting a Slow Puncture Early
Not every puncture leaves you with a flat tyre straight away. A screw or nail can sit in the tread for weeks, letting a little air out each day. In a residential area like this, where cars spend nights on a driveway and days on short trips, it's easy to miss until the tyre is visibly low.
Every couple of weeks, walk round the car and look at each tyre. If one sits lower than the others, or needs topping up more often, run your hand carefully over the tread and look for anything shiny embedded in it. Leave the object where it is, as pulling it out can make the leak much faster, and get in touch. Caught early, a slow puncture is often a straightforward repair.
