Mobile Fitting for Cirencester and the Cotswold Roads
Cirencester is a crossroads town. The A417 and A419 meet here, linking Gloucester and the M5 with Swindon and the M4, and the A429 follows the old Fosse Way north-east across the Cotswolds. Plenty of local driving is fast single carriageway and dual carriageway, mixed with village lanes, and a tyre failure out there can leave you a long way from a fitting bay.
You don't need to get to one. Our fitters travel to wherever the car has stopped, at home, at work or on a safe verge, and fit the tyre on the spot. We're available at any hour and on any day, and we aim to reach most call-outs within 60 minutes, though rural locations can take a little longer.
In town, the jobs tend to be different: a car left in a car park overnight that's now on its rim, or a tyre clipped on a kerb in one of the older narrow streets near the centre. Out in the villages it's more often a puncture from a flint or a pothole on a lane that's seen a lot of farm traffic. We handle both kinds, and in either case the fitter works on the car where it sits, so you aren't left trying to arrange a tow.
How We Handle a Call-Out Near Cirencester
The process is simple. You phone or message with your location and what's wrong. We pass the job to the closest available fitter from a network of more than 100 across England and Wales, and they come out carrying the right tyre, especially if you've given us the size from the sidewall.
At the car, the fitter either repairs the puncture or fits a new tyre. Wheel balancing and taking away the old tyre are free, and every new tyre has the manufacturer's guarantee. You pay when it's done, by card, cash or bank transfer, and nothing is added on top of what you were told.
Our Cirencester Services
- Mobile tyre fitting: new tyres for cars and SUVs, fitted at farmhouses, cottages and town-centre homes alike.
- Puncture repair: if the damage is within the central tread and small enough, we repair rather than replace.
- Van tyres: light commercial tyres for businesses serving the surrounding villages and estates.
- Breakdown recovery: for when the car can't safely be worked on where it stopped, such as a tight bend on a country road.
The Town, Nearby Villages and Main Routes

Before a Long Drive: Check Your Spare and Locking Nut Key
Living out in the Cotswolds means longer drives on quiet roads, often after dark. It's worth knowing what you've actually got in the boot before you need it. Many newer cars don't carry a spare at all, just an inflation kit, and plenty of spares that do exist have been flat for years.
Just as important is the locking wheel nut key. If your wheels have locking nuts and the key isn't in the car, nobody can get the wheel off without specialist tools. Check it's in the glovebox or boot well, and if you call us, tell us whether you have it so the fitter can come prepared.
While you're looking, check the jack and wheel brace are there too, and that your phone has a charger in the car. Signal can be patchy in some of the dips between villages, so if you break down somewhere remote, it may be worth walking a short way to a higher spot before calling, keeping well away from the carriageway.
