Tyres Sorted on Your Bromley Driveway or Side Street
Bromley is a big town with a lot of different driving in it. Some mornings start on a quiet road in Bickley or Park Langley, others in a queue on the A21 heading through Bromley Common towards the town centre, and plenty of people spend part of the day hunting for a space near the High Street. A flat can turn up in any of those places, and none of them is a good spot to be wrestling with a jack and a space-saver.
That is the job we do. Ring us, and a mobile fitter brings the right tyre and the kit to wherever the car is: on your drive in Hayes, outside the house in Plaistow, or in a car park near the shops. We work around the clock, every day of the week, and we aim to reach you within 60 minutes in most cases, though Bromley traffic at school-run time can add a few minutes.
Why Bromley Households Skip the Garage Trip
Driving to a tyre centre on a puncture risks wrecking a tyre that could have been repaired, and booking a slot often means losing half a day. A mobile visit avoids both. Here is what you get:
- A fitter from nearby. Our network has more than 100 mobile fitters across England and Wales, so a Bromley job goes to someone working in south-east London rather than across the county.
- Balancing and disposal included. Every new tyre is balanced on the spot and the old one is taken away, free of charge.
- Manufacturer's guarantee. New tyres come with the maker's own cover, whether you choose a premium, mid-range or budget brand.
- Straightforward payment. Card, cash or bank transfer once the job is finished, and no hidden fees added on.
What We Can Do for You in Bromley
- Mobile tyre fitting: replacement tyres fitted outside your home or office, so a worn-out set can be changed while the car sits on the drive.
- Puncture repair: a nail or screw in the middle part of the tread can usually be plugged and sealed safely; damage near the shoulder or sidewall means a new tyre instead.
- Van tyres: builders, plumbers and couriers based around Bromley can have a van tyre changed at the next job rather than abandoning the day.
- Breakdown recovery: if a wheel is bent or the car has stopped somewhere unsafe, such as a busy stretch of the A21, we can arrange to move it.
Shortlands, Bickley, Hayes and the Rest of BR1 and BR2
We cover all of Bromley: the town centre, Shortlands, Bickley, Sundridge, Plaistow, Southborough, Park Langley, Bromley Common, Hayes and Keston, along with Locksbottom on the way out towards Farnborough. Our fitters regularly work along the A21 and the A222 Bromley Road, and on the residential streets either side of them.
Close by, we reach Beckenham, Chislehurst, Petts Wood and West Wickham, plus the neighbouring areas of Orpington, Catford and Croydon.
The 20p Test: Know When Your Tread Is Too Low
A lot of Bromley cars do mostly short trips: the station, the shops, school and back. Tyres on those cars wear more slowly than on a motorway commuter's, so it is easy to forget about them until an MOT tester points out that they are close to the limit.
The legal minimum for a car is 1.6mm of tread across the central three-quarters of the tyre, all the way round. A quick check: push a 20p coin into the main grooves. If you can see the outer band of the coin, the tread is getting low and it is worth replacing soon, because grip in the wet drops off well before you reach the legal line. Check several points on each tyre, since uneven wear on the inside edge is common and hard to spot without turning the steering.
