Mobile Tyre Fitters on Call in Southend
Southend is at the very end of two long roads out of London. The A127 comes in from junction 29 of the M25 and the A13 from junction 30, and both lead right into the city centre. Within the city, the A1159 runs from Thorpe Bay up past the airport, and the seafront and the streets of Westcliff and Leigh fill up with parked cars on any warm day.
If you find a flat on the drive in Eastwood, hear a tyre go on the A127, or come back to a soft tyre in a seafront car park, a mobile fitter can come to you instead. They bring the tyre and all the equipment, so the job is done there and then. We operate 24 hours a day, every day, and in most cases aim to be with you within 60 minutes, depending on traffic and exactly where you are.
Why Southend Drivers Call Us Out
It's usually about time. A lot of people here drive to work along the A127 or A13, or rely on the car to get to a station for the c2c line or the trains from Southend Victoria. A flat at seven in the morning needs fixing that morning, not when a garage can fit you in.
- We pass your job to the nearest of our 100+ fitters working across England and Wales.
- They repair the tyre if it's safe to, or fit a new one on the spot, with the manufacturer's guarantee.
- Balancing and disposal of the old tyre are free, and there are no hidden fees.
- You pay by card, cash or bank transfer once the work's done.
Tyre Services Across the City
- Mobile tyre fitting: new tyres from budget through to premium, fitted outside your home in Thorpe Bay or Prittlewell, or wherever you're parked.
- Puncture repair: we'll check whether the damage is within the repairable central zone of the tread before suggesting a new tyre.
- Van tyres: tyres for vans and light commercials working across Southend and the surrounding towns, fitted on site.
- Breakdown recovery: for a damaged wheel or a car that can't safely be worked on where it has stopped, such as a busy section of the A13.
Westcliff, Leigh, Shoebury and Nearby Towns
Our fitters cover every part of the city: the centre and seafront, Westcliff-on-Sea, Chalkwell and Leigh-on-Sea in the west, Prittlewell and Eastwood to the north, and Southchurch, Thorpe Bay, Shoeburyness and North Shoebury in the east. The A127, the A13 and the A1159 are all covered.
Beyond the boundary we also go to Rochford, Hadleigh and Rayleigh. Further west along the A127 and A13 you'll find our pages for Basildon and Wickford.
Check for Sidewall Bulges After a Jolt
Speed humps, deep potholes and the occasional mounted kerb are part of city driving. Hit one too hard and the tyre can be pinched between the rim and the obstacle. The damage isn't always obvious straight away: the tyre may still hold air, but a few internal cords have snapped.
The giveaway is a bulge or egg-shaped lump on the sidewall, sometimes on the inside face where you can't easily see it. After a heavy jolt, park up when it's safe, turn the steering to full lock and look at both faces of the front tyres. A bulge means the tyre is weakened and can burst, so it must be replaced, not repaired. Don't save it for the weekend; ring us and we'll fit a new tyre at home or at work.
