Tyres Sorted Where You Are in Rochdale
Rochdale runs almost straight into its neighbours. Heywood, Milnrow and Littleborough join the town with barely a gap, and plenty of drivers cross from one to the other several times a day. For longer trips the A627(M) carries traffic down to the M62 at junction 20, while the A58 runs through the town between Littleborough and Heywood.
If a tyre fails on any of those journeys, or you find a flat outside the house, we bring the fix to you. A mobile fitter turns up in a fully equipped van and does the job on the spot. We operate 24 hours a day, every day, and we aim to arrive within 60 minutes in most cases, subject to traffic and location.
Not every job is an emergency, either. If a tyre has worn close to the legal limit, or you've been topping one up every few days, you can book a fitting for a time that suits you, at home or at work, rather than waiting for it to fail on the motorway.
Reasons Rochdale Drivers Choose Us
- No driving on a damaged tyre. The fitter comes to the car, so a puncture doesn't turn into a ruined wheel on the way to a garage.
- Someone close by. Jobs go to the nearest fitter among the 100+ we work with across England and Wales.
- Extras that cost nothing. Balancing and old-tyre disposal are free with every fitting.
- Peace of mind. The manufacturer's guarantee applies to each new tyre, and you pay by card, cash or transfer with no hidden fees.

Rochdale Townships and Nearby Places We Reach
We cover the whole borough: Rochdale itself, Heywood, Middleton, and the Pennine townships of Milnrow, Newhey, Smallbridge, Wardle, Firgrove and Littleborough. Just over the boundary we go out to Whitworth, Royton and Shaw too.
Our fitters also serve Oldham to the south, Bury to the west and Manchester, which many Rochdale commuters reach via the M62 and M60.
Older Tyres: Check the Age, Not Only the Tread
A car that does short local trips, or spends weeks parked on the street, can keep plenty of tread for years. The rubber still ages, though. Over time it hardens and develops fine cracks in the sidewall and between the tread blocks, and an old tyre grips worse in the wet even if it looks deep enough.
You can find a tyre's age from the four-digit code on the sidewall: 2219, for example, means the 22nd week of 2019. If yours are getting on, or you can see cracking when you bend the tread with your thumb, it is worth having them looked at. This matters most on a second car or a vehicle that has sat unused for a while.
While you have the car out, check the spare as well. A spare that has never been used can be the oldest tyre on the car, and it is no help if it turns out to be flat or perished on the day you need it.
