Bury Drivers: We Bring the Tyre to You
Bury lies about ten miles north of central Manchester, where the A56 meets the A58. The A56 runs down through Whitefield and Prestwich to junction 17 of the M60, and the M66 is close by for anyone heading east or north. Lots of people also leave the car at home and take the Metrolink into town, which means a flat tyre is often only spotted when you get back to it.
Wherever the car is, our fitters can come to it. Tell us the location, and someone will arrive with a replacement tyre and the tools to fit it there and then. We're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and in most cases we aim to reach you within 60 minutes, depending on traffic.
Fitting at home suits a lot of Bury households. If a tyre is wearing thin and you'd rather not spend a Saturday in a waiting room, book a time and the fitter will swap it on your drive while you get on with your day.

Bury Town and the Surrounding Borough
We work throughout Bury town and the wider borough, including Radcliffe, Tottington, Ramsbottom on the edge of the Pennines, Whitefield and Prestwich. Our fitters are regularly out on the A56, the A58, the M66 and the M60 around junction 17.
If you've parked at a tram stop and come back to a flat, just tell us which stop and roughly where in the car park you are. The same goes for a supermarket, a gym or a school gate: a clear description of the spot helps the fitter go straight to the car rather than hunting for it.
Neighbouring pages you may find useful: Bolton, Rochdale, Salford and Manchester.
Uneven Wear Is Telling You Something
When you check your tyres, don't only look at overall tread depth. Compare the inside edge, the middle and the outside edge of each tyre. If one edge is wearing much faster than the rest, the wheel alignment may be out, often after a hard knock from a pothole or speed bump. Wear down the centre suggests over-inflation, while both edges wearing together points to too little air.
The inner edge is the easy one to miss, because you can't see it without turning the steering or crouching down. Turn the wheels to full lock on the drive and have a proper look. Catching uneven wear early can add months to a tyre's life, and it stops a hidden worn patch reaching the cords before you know about it.
