Tyre Help on Both Sides of the River at Marlow
Marlow sits on the Thames with the A404 running past its eastern edge, climbing Marlow Hill to the M40 at Handy Cross in one direction and heading south over the river past Bisham towards the M4 in the other. Many people here commute along that dual carriageway; others mostly use the A4155 through the town, which carries on to Little Marlow and Bourne End one way and towards Henley the other.
Whichever road you were on when the tyre went, we can come to you. A mobile fitter arrives with the tyre and the kit and does the work where the car is, at home, in a town-centre car park or in a safe spot off the main road. We're available 24 hours a day, and in most cases we aim to reach you within 60 minutes, depending on traffic and exactly where you are.
It's not only emergencies, either. If your tyres are simply getting worn, we can book a fitting for a time that suits you, on your drive or at your workplace, so you don't lose a Saturday morning sitting in a tyre centre.
Why Marlow Drivers Choose a Fitter Who Comes to Them
The town has narrow streets and limited parking, and there's no point driving on a damaged tyre to reach a garage in another town. With a mobile fitter, the tyre gets changed where you are and you get on with your day. Every job includes:
- a fitter from our network of 100+ across England and Wales, sent from as close by as possible;
- free balancing and free disposal of the old tyre;
- the manufacturer's guarantee on new tyres;
- payment by card, cash or bank transfer, with no hidden fees.

Marlow, the Villages and the A404 Corridor
As well as the town itself, we cover Marlow Bottom to the north, Little Marlow to the east, Medmenham to the west, and Bisham and Cookham Dean across the river. Roads we're called to include the A404 between Handy Cross and the M4, junction 4 of the M40 and the A4155.
We also cover the neighbouring towns of High Wycombe, Bourne End, Maidenhead and Henley-on-Thames.
Towing a Boat or Caravan? Check the Trailer Tyres Too
Living by the Thames, plenty of Marlow households tow something now and then: a boat on a trailer, a caravan for the summer, or a trailer of garden waste. Trailer tyres are easy to forget. They often sit unused for months, they lose pressure, and the rubber can crack with age even when the tread still looks deep.
Before a trip, check the trailer tyres as carefully as the car's. Look for cracks in the sidewall, set the pressures to the trailer maker's figures, and check the date code on the sidewall: a four-digit number showing the week and year it was made. Many towing organisations suggest replacing trailer and caravan tyres at around five to seven years old regardless of tread. On the car, use the higher pressures listed for heavy loads when you're towing, especially for a long pull up Marlow Hill.
