Mobile Tyres in Our Own Home Town
Tyres Anywhere is based in High Wycombe, so we know how the town drives. It's built along the bottom of a narrow Chiltern valley, with the A40 running through the middle and housing climbing steeply up both sides. A typical journey might start on a hill in Downley or Totteridge, drop into the one-way system around the town centre, then join the M40 at Handy Cross or Loudwater. Stop-start traffic, steep gradients and tight parking on terraced streets all take their toll on tyres.
Our mobile fitters bring the tyre to your car rather than the other way round, whether you're parked on your road, at work in Cressex or in a multi-storey in town. The service runs 24 hours a day, and we aim to be with you within 60 minutes in most cases, depending on traffic and exactly where you are.
Why Wycombe Drivers Skip the Garage Queue
Driving across town on a flat, or on a space-saver limited to 50mph, is nobody's idea of a good morning. A mobile fitter means the job is done wherever the car happens to be.
- Experienced fitters. Our network of more than 100 mobile fitters across England and Wales brings decades of tyre-fitting experience.
- Free extras that matter. Every fitting includes wheel balancing and disposal of your old tyre at no charge.
- A range for every car. Premium, mid-range and budget tyres, covered by the manufacturer's guarantee.
- Clear payment. Competitive prices with nothing hidden, payable by cash, card or bank transfer.
What We Fit and Fix in High Wycombe
- Mobile tyre fitting: new car tyres fitted at home, at the office or in a car park, including run-flat and larger performance sizes.
- Puncture repair: small punctures in the central part of the tread are repaired to British Standard guidance; if it isn't safe to repair, we'll replace the tyre on the spot.
- Van tyres: for vans working out of Cressex, Sands and the trading estates along the valley, with van and light commercial tyres fitted on site.
- Breakdown recovery: for damaged wheels, or a car stopped somewhere unsafe on the M40, A404 or A40.

Run-Flat Tyres: What Wycombe Drivers Should Know
Many newer cars, especially premium German models, leave the factory on run-flat tyres and have no spare wheel at all. Run-flats have stiffened sidewalls that let you keep driving for a limited distance after a puncture, usually at reduced speed. The handbook will give the exact limits for your car.
That's useful if you lose pressure on the M40 heading out of High Wycombe, but there are catches. Because the tyre still looks normal, you rely on the pressure warning to tell you something is wrong. Once a run-flat has been driven on without air, it often can't be repaired, so treat the limited range as a way to get somewhere safe rather than an excuse to carry on to work. When replacing, stick with run-flats if the car was designed for them, and don't mix run-flat and standard tyres on the same axle. Tell us the car has run-flats when you call, so the fitter brings the right tyre.
