Loughton Tyre Problems Sorted at the Kerbside
Loughton is an unusual mix. It lies inside the M25 and has two Central line stations, Loughton and Debden, yet much of the parish backs onto Epping Forest, and the A121 winds through some of the densest woodland on its way to Waltham Abbey. On the other side of town, junction 5 of the M11 gives a quick route towards London, though it only lets you join the southbound carriageway.
Whether your tyre has failed on a forest road, at the station car park or outside your house, we can send a mobile fitter to deal with it in place. They bring the tyre and every tool needed. We answer the phone 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we aim to reach most Loughton addresses within 60 minutes, subject to traffic.
A lot of Loughton residents take the Tube into London and leave the car parked on a residential street all day. Coming back to a flat tyre in the evening is a common reason people call us. If that happens to you, there is no need to change it on the roadside in the dark: stay somewhere comfortable and let the fitter do it.
How We Handle a Job in Loughton
The first thing we need is where you are. After that, the tyre size (on the side wall of the tyre) lets the fitter load the right one before setting off. We then hand the job to the nearest fitter in our network, which counts over 100 mobile tyre technicians across England and Wales.
On arrival, the fitter removes the old tyre, fits the new one, balances the wheel and takes the old tyre away. Balancing and disposal cost nothing extra. New tyres come with the manufacturer's guarantee. Our prices are competitive and there are no surprise charges; you can pay by card, cash or bank transfer when the work is done.
Tyre Services Across Loughton and Debden
- Mobile tyre fitting. Choose from budget, mid-range or premium tyres, fitted at your home in Loughton or wherever the car is parked.
- Mobile puncture repair. A clean puncture in the middle of the tread can often be repaired to British Standard guidance, which saves buying a new tyre.
- Van tyre fitting. For trades and delivery vans working between Loughton, the M11 and north-east London.
- Breakdown recovery. When the car is stuck somewhere unsafe, such as a narrow forest road with no verge, or the wheel itself is damaged.
Debden, Buckhurst Hill and the Forest Fringe
We cover Loughton itself and Debden, plus the neighbouring parishes of Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell and Theydon Bois, and out along the A121 to Waltham Abbey. Fitters also attend the M11 near junction 5 and the roads through Epping Forest.
Close by, we serve Epping, Chingford and Walthamstow.
Keep the Locking Wheel Nut Key Where You Can Find It
Many cars have one locking nut on each wheel, which needs a special adaptor to undo. Without that key, no fitter can get the wheel off, however quickly they reach you. It is one of the most common reasons a simple tyre change takes longer than it should.
Check now where yours lives. Usually it is in the glovebox, the door pocket or in a tray under the boot floor with the jack. If you have bought a second-hand car, make sure the key came with it, and keep a note of the code printed on the card or key if there is one, as that makes a replacement easier to order. When you call us, tell us whether you have the key, so the fitter can come prepared.
The same goes for a car you share with family. If someone else drove it last, ask where they put the key before you need it on a dark evening in the forest.
