On-Site Tyre Fitting for Hayes Cars and Vans
Hayes is a working town. The Parkway carries traffic between the Uxbridge Road and junction 3 of the M4, Heathrow is only a few miles south, and the business parks and industrial estates along the Grand Union Canal keep vans, lorries and staff cars moving all day and much of the night.
That makes tyre trouble expensive in a different way here: a flat on a delivery van or a work car means lost jobs as well as a repair. Our mobile fitters are set up to fix that quickly, in your yard, at a customer's address, your driveway or the kerbside where the vehicle stopped.
Call us at any time of day or night. We aim to have a fitter with you within 60 minutes in most cases, depending on traffic on the A312 and the M4.
How We Handle a Call-Out in Hayes
- Tell us the vehicle and the problem. For a van, mention the load rating on the sidewall as well as the size, so we bring a tyre that can carry the weight.
- A fitter heads your way. We have over 100 mobile fitters across England and Wales, and we send whoever is nearest to west London.
- The job is finished where you are. Balancing is free, your old tyre is taken away for free, and every new tyre is covered by the manufacturer's guarantee.
Card, cash and bank transfer are all accepted, and there are no hidden charges added afterwards.
If you run more than one vehicle, just let us know which one is off the road and where it's parked. Fitters regularly work in yards and loading areas, as long as there's a safe, level spot to jack the vehicle up away from moving traffic.
Services for Hayes Drivers and Businesses
- Van tyres: commercial tyres for vans and light commercials, fitted in the yard or on the street, so a driver can get back on the road without a trip to a tyre centre.
- Mobile tyre fitting: new car tyres in budget, mid-range or premium brands, fitted at home in Hayes End or at work near Stockley Park.
- Puncture repair: if a puncture sits within the repairable area of the tread and is small enough, we repair it rather than replace the tyre.
- Breakdown recovery: for vehicles that can't be fixed at the roadside or need moving off a busy road such as the M4 slip roads.
Hayes Town, Harlington and the Surrounding Area
We cover all of Hayes, including Hayes Town, Botwell, Hayes End, Wood End, Yeading and Harlington, as well as the A312, the A4020 Uxbridge Road, the A4 Bath Road and the M4 around junctions 3 and 4.
Our fitters also work in Southall, West Drayton, Heathrow and Uxbridge, so drivers moving between these areas can call the same number.
Van Tip: Don't Overload Your Tyres
Van tyres are built to carry heavier loads than car tyres, but only up to the limit marked on them. The load index on the sidewall, the number after the size, tells you how much each tyre can safely carry. A van that's regularly loaded close to its maximum needs tyres with the right rating and pressures set for that load, not the lighter figure used when it's empty.
Your handbook or the plate inside the door gives laden and unladen pressures. Running a full van on the unladen figure makes the tyres flex and heat up, wears the shoulders quickly and raises the risk of a blowout on the motorway. If you're not sure what's on your van, the fitter can check the ratings when they arrive.
