Mobile Tyre Fitting in Stony Stratford

Stony Stratford is an old coaching town on the Roman road of Watling Street, now part of the north-west corner of Milton Keynes. The old road still runs through the middle, called London Road, High Street and Towcester Road along the way, while the A5 itself was moved onto a newer alignment around the town. Lots of newer cars come with a can of tyre sealant and a small compressor instead of a spare wheel. It can get you moving after a small puncture, but it's meant as a temporary fix to help you reach help, not a permanent repair. Most kits come with a speed limit, often 50mph, and a short distance to drive.

If you've used one, let us know when you call. The sealant coats the inside of the tyre, and it needs cleaning out before a proper repair can be judged, and some tyres can't be repaired afterwards. The sensor inside the wheel, if your car has one, might also need checking. Being upfront about it means the fitter brings the right replacement, just in case.
